Hi this bharathi from india, now i m a 45 days pregnent, already i m having baby girl she is 3 yrs old, now i dnt want another baby so soon, so today at 12'O clock i taken one MTPill and now its feeling uneasy. wt it wil b. doctor advice me to take another table Misoprostol Tablets Zitotec 200 after 24 hours by vagina how it will works. plz help me, i m very worried about this. thankq.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Though Misoprostol alone also is an effective regime for termination of pregnancy for up to 9 weeks of gestation, Tab. Mifepristone followed after 24 to 48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol is more effective. For Misoprostol only regime, you may have to repeat Tab. Misoprostol every 3 to 12 hours up to 3 doses. Usually, the abortion is completed within 24 to 72 hours of the last dose of Misoprostol.
These medicines cause developmental errors in the baby. Hence, if they fail, please get the pregnancy terminated by some surgical method like MVA aspiration or so.
