What Are The Wine Colored Blotches On My Forearms?

Lately, I have noticed wine colored blotches appearing on my forearms....Just this morning I have five new ones on the right arm, and just one on the left arm. They don t hurt at all; they are not raised lesions...so, should I be concerned? I am a very young, active grandma...of 73 years.
