What Are Tong Term Obstacles Of Having NEC?

At 2 years old I nearly died from NEC or n.e.c, Emergency surgery saved my life but I had a hemi collectomy and lost my IIlium.I AM 41 yrs old now and suffer from chronic diarrhea to chronic constipation,was put on cholestryamine but cant it due to making me constipated as I also have painful flat hemmoroids.I have chronic stomache pain and was wondering what is the longterm obstacles I can have from nec and how I could I take the cholestryamine without it constipating me?thank you
