What Are Vomiting Sensation With A Feeling Of Gagging And Cough Suggestive Of?

Hi, so I was feeling a little nauseated and dehydrated so I drank plenty of water and started to cook dinner. It just got done so I had a few bits out of the pan . Anyways I think I throw up it came up on my month and went back down without me swallowing. It burned the back of my nostrils , which still feel idk how to describe other than , abnormal. I started coughing uncontrollably . I came close to throwing up but didn t other than a piece of shrimp that came up but I could still feel something in my throat and felt weird . I ve had food stuck in my throats before and it didn t feel like this. Possibly wrong tube I think. Still I coughed but it never came up but the piece felt smaller . Now I feel winded , chest pain , irritation in back of my nostrils,and this weird pain where my throat and chest meet. I ate and drink a little and went down fine. Should I be concerned? My dad actually died from pneumonia due to aspirated vomit. So maybe I m overreacting but I m scared. I ve never had this happen and my dad died 6 years ago so it s not like I m paranoid cause it just happened. It s been quite sometime.
