What Can I Do About Difficulty In Urination 10 Hours After My Rectal Prolapse Surgery Despite Drinking Fluids And Using A Heating Pad?

Hi I had rectal prolapse surgery today at 1:30 pm and I have a bladder prolapse that will be repaired later . Oh and I got a colostomy Sept 12. Everything with the colostomy was fine. But now I feel the urge to urinate and I can t. It s been about 10 hours since the surgery. I did a ditz bath per doctor s order Did not urinate. I have been drinking a lot of liquids including hot herbal tea and now am using a heating pad on my abdomen. What else can I do? I don t want to go to ER. Oh and they have me 1 oxycodone for pain.
