What Can I Do About Pain And Occasional Thumb Numbness To Promote Healing Despite Rest And A Brace For Wrist And Hand Tendinitis?

Hi, I went to a doctor for wrist and hand pain. I was told I have tendinitis and I should rest my hand as much as possible and wear a brace. I’m doing that (as much as I can with work typing) but I still feel pain in my wrist and hand. And now my thumb feels numb sometimes. Is there anything I can do to help the healing?
