What Can I Do For High Blood Pressure During Pregnancy ?
I am 8-weeks pregnant and my blood pressure (last checked, a couple of days ago) was 130/72. My BP is typically low: 105/68. This is my 3rd pregnancy , I am 29-years old and work out at least 4 days a week for 45 min. My BP also went up with my 2nd pregnancy, but my OB, never paid it too much attention. Why would this be happening and what can I do to help lower my BP?
Dear
I believe the reading of BP at present is normal and not high. Too low Bp itself can cause lot of problems. This at present is not a cause of concern
Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Your BP of 130/72 is perfectly normal and it can be said high BP only when your systolic BP goes above 140 and the diastolic(lower) goes at or above 90mmHg.So presently for the normal BP you do not need treatment and if your BP goes really high your OBG will start on some medicines if needed.Please do not worry.
Thanks
You have to be very careful about your BP during pregnancy as it may affect the child and is also a risk to pregnancy. You should drink fluids and avoid salt from your diet. Take fibres in diet and do some walk in morning and evening.
Thanks
