What Can I Do For The Swollen Gum Around The Tooth And Should I Consult The Doctor?

Hi! I have really cramped teeth! I have 2 fangs, the one on the right its gum has swollen a little around my tooth it doesn t hurt and it doesn t bleed but its been swollen for about a week now. I m too scared and embarassed to go to the dentist. What can I do? Can I go see my local GP about it?

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Swollen gums can be because of infection, improper oral hygiene, hormonal changes, use of certain medications.
I would suggest you to consult to a Dentist and get a checkup done, go for complete mouth scaling and polishing.
At home take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
Take multivitamin suplements.
Maintain a good oral hygiene.
