What Can I Do To Reduce Chronic Swelling And Stiffness In My Left Ankle After Hip Replacement Surgery?

I had my left hip replaced 7 months ago. Both ankles swelled after surgery, but my left one is still swelled and stiff. I ve tried ice, elevation, support hose and massage, and nothing seems to help much. The swelling is low in the morning, but comes up during the day. Is there something I can do to make the swelling go down and stay down?
