What Can I Do To Stop The Spread Of Skin Mite Infestation?

I have been diagnosed with skin mites and have been using a skin wash (Ovace), Permethring 5% (at night) and Sopolantra 1% in the AM. In the last few days 12 new spots have shown up on my face. What can I do to stop the spread of these mite infestation? I know it takes about 3 months of treatments but, I have been dealing with this since February. I was first diagnosed with adult acne but, have been treating mites for over one month. Help.

Hello,

You mean you suffer from scabies. It s highly contagious and relapsing disease due to self infection. Poor hygiene and poor immunity might be the reasons. Take Ivermectin twice a week and repeat weekly till the clearance of infestation. Antihistaminics like Cetirizine daily to relieve itch may be considered. Take bath with dettol liquid. Avoid soap.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
