What Can A Mark On The Lung Be?

hi, i visit my doctor and she saw my xray and said that i have an spot..then she says i have an tb but i think its a mark when i was a child, a mark from my asthma... theres no test were done to me but only seeing my x-ray.... is it true that if you see an x-ray result you will know what is the condition of the patient? im not convinced to my doctor though.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you are having scar tissue.
Lung scar can be due to any past insult in the lung. It can be
1. TB
2. Pneumonia
3. Lung contusion.
Any insult in the lung heals by scar tissue. So no need to worry much about this as this is harmless.
You can get done CT THORAX and bronchoscopy with BAL (Broncho Alveolar Lavage) analysis for further evaluation of lesion.
