What Can Be A Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat Post Tonsil Removal Operation?

tonsils were removed last Friday I ve always felt them in the back of my throat area and tonight I felt as though something was stuck in my throat in the left side and gargling water didn t help anything. I no longer feel the stitches were they were at so did the stitches dissolve or move or did I somehow swallow them?

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding some thing is struck in throat though your tonsils are being removed on last Friday.

This is a very common symptom in few patients but don't worry. This is because of slough on tonsillar fossa and some times due to stitches doe to stop bleeders.

Take antiseptic gargling for few more days you will get relief.

Regards.
