What Can Be Applied Around Nose For Redness Due To Wiping?

My daughter's baby girl has a cold and the skin around and outside her nose is red maybe because too much wiping, is there is anything she can put on the baby's or around the baby's nose for this' something like baby oil or vaseline. (Hope you understand my english, since I am a spanish speaking person.) Thank you so much

to much wiping of nose irritates the baby's tender skin,thus causing redness .butter[homemade,pure]ghee, if applied taking aseptic precautions will help.application of sandalwood rubbed in water and paste applied will be of help.plain application of pure ,coconut oil medicine called shatadhaut ghrut availa ble in market may be the choice.any one of above combination may be used.
