What Can Be Done For Irregular Heart Beat?

I had a rapid heart beat three weeks ago and was admitted to hospital, the heart rate has now slowed down but it is still irregular I am on beta blockers ,digoxin and warfarin I am anxious that I have a severe heart condition. I do have mild mitral stenosis and I am 72 years of age.
