What Can Be Done For Pain On Walking After Hairline Fracture Of Leg? On Painkillers, Cripple Bandage

I have 48 year old, a week back i slipped from stair case steps and causd hair crakck righ food of elob side, doctors (MS ortho surgeon) advised for cripple bandage and pain killers after seeing x rays. Still pain exist while walking. Doctors says it will take time for 3 to 4 weeks for curve. They have not advised plaster of paris for injured side.

Sir kindly advice for next step.

Hi. If the fracture side is well covered and protected by muscle around it, the said treatment by your Orthopedic surgeon is right. Take rest. Do not walk without support for 3 weeks. Take Calcium and everything will be fine.
