Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. The sharp object can struck in the throat or esophagus. If left there then it can cause infection , inflammation or migration of the object. A consultation with ENT specialist should be done to rule out and manage this. ENT specialist will help you to remove it by laryngoscopy or by using endoscope.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
