What Can Be Taken To Make The Taste Buds Active?

Hello Sir
My father-in-law is a cancer patient (in the 3rd stage). He has undergone 33 radiations and 2 chemos at present. He is having Nasopharingial Casanova being treated at Vellore, CMC Hospital, India. He is unable to eat as his taste buds are all in active and also he does not have saliva in his mouth to swallow food. He is mainly having food in liquid forms. He also vomits whenever he take citrus food.
I would like to know if any substituent can be taken to make the taste buds active and help him to face this situation

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
To be frank, i should say that it is not possible, but as a trial we can make use of some medicines.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms nuerotropic injections for 10 consecutive days and then periodically. supplements of calcium, and vitamin D.
I advise to take fresh juice of palatable vegetables may be a mixture.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
