What Can Be The Cause Of Dizziness, Nausea, Numbness In Gums, Teeth And Face?
Last night at work after lunch which consisted of turkey soup and an apple I felt a numbness of my lips on the right side of my face and my gums and teeth also felt numb. This lasted for about 10 minutes and then gone. 3 hours later I started to leave work for home and felt extremely dizzy. My eyes felt as if they were looking in different directions. Walking to my car I looked like a drunk, I could not walk a straight line. I sat in my car for about 40 minutes until I could see things clearly. Drove home only 5 miles away and I had to consentrate doing so. All the time being dizzy I wanted to throw up. I'm staying home tonight due to the fact I'm still dizzy and feel nauseos. I do alot of computer work about 8 hours a day.
Hello I reviewed the history provided by you. It seems from the history that you are having dizziness associated with numbness of face and nausea. I would like to consider migraine and transient ischaemic attack as my differential diagnosis. If you have history of headache along with the above mentioned symptoms then it is most probably migraine. I will like to rule out transient ischaemic attack by investigations like carotid Doppler. Hence I advice you to consult physician for evaluation and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
