hi...DR. im 19..im from Malaysia. i hve giddy since i was 14. everyday when i goes out or go to college i feel imbalance and feel like want to fainted, but i never faint before. i always buy sweets with me, when i feel giddy or imbalance i will take sweets, then i feel better a bit. Sometime at night i feel giddy when i lie down on my bed and i got the feeling that my head and body are shaking, not really shaking and moving around, i feel like. i seen DR. i told them that i got these problem, and they said im normal..but i have the problem..it is very annoying..please help me! any advise?
Hi There are many causes of Giddiness like Anaemia Balance disorders (inner ear) - giddiness, Iron deficiency, Lithium toxicity, Methahemoglobinemia, Migraine, Ménière's disease , Nickel etc. Since you are young i think you must get proper check up including ENT exam, Diabetic Status, any exposure to poison, remove any anxiety and if nothing comeout then MRI brain to rule out ant pathology.
