What Can Be The Reason For High Progesterone Level?

Hi I am currently on my third cycle of clomid and my doctor has called me to say that my last day21 blood test showed my progesterone was 118.4nmols so he thinks I should be pregnant. Done a home test and it s negative though. Could I still be pregnant or is there another reason why my progesterone is so high? My previous day21 results were 58.7 Thanks Laura

Hello,
welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Urine pregnancy test kit may gives some time false negative results.
Please do it with other brand kit and with first early morning urine sample.
In first 3 months of pregnancy, progesterone level ranges between 15-90 ng/ml.
It may be due to pregnancy but other factors are also there which change the level of hormone.
Please consult your gynecologist for vaginal examination.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks for contacting.
Have a healthy life ahead.
Take care...
