What Can Be The Reason For Pain And Soreness In The Throat And Teeth?
My back, bottom row of teeth are sore. And under my tongue, along with my throat-- But although it's a constant sore, it doesn't feel sore from the inside. Like, if I touch my throat or my under-chin area it hurts bad. It resembles having a 'lump in your throat' from crying or being sad. But I've had it gradually getting worse since last night. What could this possibly be?
** Also, the back-under part of my tongue hurts when I yawn, and my throat hurts when I swallow. It doesn't feel like a typical sore throat in the least bit. I've never had this pain before.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms of sore back bottom row teeth along with pain on the underside of tongue and tenderness under jaw and chin can be due to swollen lymph nodes,, difficulty in swallowing all of these are pointing towards inflammation of gum flap around wisdom tooth known as Pericoronitis. This is appearing to be the most common cause.. Nothing to worry, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of Pericoronitis, antibiotics like Augmentin and Metronidazole and anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and warm saline gargles will relieve..
Hope this information helps..
