What Can Be The Reason For Sore Throat, Cough And Ear Block?
dear doctor, i am a 38 year old woman. for the past one month i am suffering from productive cough,sore throat and ear and nose block.i consulted a physician and he took a x ray and said i have chest congestion.he prescribed medicines for 5 days.they are topcef 200 ,montex 4,levova,ketasma and accocontin tabs and asscoril expectorant.today is the 5th day.but i accidently missed the accocontin tablets and only now i realised it.i took all other medicine as recommened by the doctor.what should i do now?my cough and chest murmur remains the same.can i start taking accocontin tablets alone from today.or do i have to repeat the whole medicines again?

No, there is no need to repeat all the medications again. However, you need to get sputum cultures done. Avoid anything cold and keep yourself hydrated.
