What Can Cause A Feeling Of String Like Material Attached To The Throat When Sneezed?

lately when I cough or sneeze a small string like material comes up from the back of my throat and it s still attached. My tonsils and adnoise have been removed when I was a child.. I m 60 now. Is it something I should be concerned with... No pain.. Just feels like a string in the back of my throat..

I have read your query and understand your concern . As far as string like material in throat is concerned this can cough be due to common cold . Dont be worried so much I will suggest you to do warm saline gargle and drink warm water . Inmeantime you can take medicine like Citrezine or Allegra by consulting with local doctor . If symptoms persists you can consult Ent surgeon for clinical examination and evaluation .
