What Can Cause A Purple Patch Near The Eye?

hello there. Ive just noticed a small purple patch on my bottom eyelid the size of a small coin. I had no idea it was there until my partner got home and asked what it was, so its appeared rather quickly. It doesnt hurt or itch. I m not on any medication. Any ideas what it could be?

Hi,

It may be ecchymosis most probably. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. It may be due to some trivial blunt trauma. I would recommend you to take tab vitamin C 1000 mg and Tab vitamin K for few days. Apply thrombophob ointment on patch.
