What Can Cause A Red Spot Turning Into Bump And Then Leaving A Sore?

Hi, I am a 22 year old black female. For the past few days I've noticed that I have a few pimple like red bumps on my left arm above the elbow. There are about 6 of them and they descend down from my shoulder. The older they get they start to scab over. They start as a red spot, turns into a bump and then into a scanned sore. They itch occasionally and seem inflamed a little. PLEASE HELP. I'm really worried.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The red colored bumps could be due to folliculitis, bumps, furunculosis, etc.
The scabbing of the lesion suggest healing of the lesions.
These lesions are probably due to bacterial infection.
You need to consult your doctor for clinical examination, relevant investigations and management.

Thanks and take care
