What Can Cause A Tender Lump In The Throat?

I have tender lump feeling on my right side of my throat and it hurts to swallow. I've gotten an xray on it before the first time it happened. The results came out as nothing and this is the second time. I don't know what this could be and why it keeps happening.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tender feeling of lump on right side of throat which could be due to excessive acid production and it could be due to respiratory tra infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiallergic medication. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get throat swab test done and start treatment after proper prescription. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids. You should take antacid if it is due to acid reflux.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
