Hi if had a lump on my lower back as for more than ten years its about the size of a large pea its not painful but sometimes gets itchy its located on the left side of my lower back close to the spine I would be grateful if you tell me what it might be thank u.Emma I m 30 years old

Hi,

It may be a cyst like sabeceous cyst. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would recommend...

- excision and electro cautery of cyst under local anaesthesia.
- a course of antibiotic and anti inflammatory drugs
