Hello,
I have gone through the query and understood your concern. If you have had the sexual intercourse for the first time, rupture of hymen is likely, and this causes the bleeding. Usually it is mild and subsides in a couple of days. Since you had a heavier bleed, there is a possibility of an extended or deeper tear. This can be confirmed only through a local examination by an expert. When there is a clitoral tear, the bleeding is very heavy and painful. In such a case, immediate attention is needed. Other causes, if this bleeding is not due to hymen rupture, include erosions, infections and polyps. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
