Is she a smoker, hypertensive or diabetic. Since she has tingling and numbness it could be nerve compression or vasculitis. She can be evaluated for that. If she has been in areas which harbour ticks, a tick bite could have caused Lyme disease. Look for a rash on her limbs, torso and also scalp. Lyme disease can cause peripheral neuropathy as mentioned. You need to ask her to explain why she doesn't sleep. Is it lack of sleep or is it due to pain or any sensory disturbance in the body. Also has there been any bad event in her life recently for which she had to go through and probably was depressed for a long time.
