What Can Cause Chronic Migraines Along With Jaw Pain, Lupus And Diabetes?

Hello my name is Rosie and I have been suffering from daily chronic migraines. Most doctors say it s all in my head and they don t believe that I could have migraines everyday all day. And a few doctors have given me just about every type of headache medicine and the only one that works right now is Imitrex. And now my pharmacist doesn t want to refill my perscription even after I have been taking it for a long time. I am my wits end, someone told me I should go to a headache clinic. Which I would like to try it but with my medi-cal GoldCoast insurance, I don t think it covers it. I wish someone could find out what is causing them so I can have a quality of life. I have jaw pain, lupus, diabetes, HBP, and sinus problems. And I don t want to take any narcotics.

Hello,

Pain in the head can be due to various factors in your case. These are:

1) Diabetes mellitus
2) Hypertension.
3) Carious teeth in any of the jaw.
4) Sinusitis as you say.

All these have a strong linkage with a frequent headache. As you are taking medication which are for symptomatic measures. All it needs to sort out the issue and address it properly.

Let me tell you one thing you need: Dentists consultation to restore any carious tooth or replace all missing teeth if found and treat sinus problems.

Consultation with an endocrinologist to find the status of your Diabetes disease.
