What Can Cause Continuous Menstrual Flow?

Hi. My name is Andrea. Just over 3 months ago, my 17 year old daughter was in a serious car crash and was ejected from the car into the road. As a result she sustained a double fracture of the pelvic ring around her right hip. She did not reauire surgery. Since then, her periods have barely stopped for more than 1 day each week. Could this be caused by the pelvic trauma?
