What Can Cause Dizziness While Looking Down?

I was riding in a car and looking down at my phone and got pretty dizzy/nauseous about 2 weeks ago and the feeling has never fully gone away. Sometimes it is better than others but I am still experiencing the dizziness and slight nausea. I have never gotten sick or vomited and have no headaches, etc.

Hello!

Thank you for your question on HCM! I appreciate your concern!

I think that your symptoms may be related to an inner ear problem or to cervical spine spondyloarthrosis.

I would recommend you to consult with the ENT specialist for a careful physical examination and labyrinthine tests. A cervical column Xray may be necessary.

In the meantime I recommend you to start therapy with betahistine twice daily for a month.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Aida

Hello!

I read carefully your question and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a cervical spondylarthrosis or a motion sickness.

I recommend you to perform a routine blood test and a cervical column Xray to exlude this cause.

I would also advise you to consult with the ENT specialist and perform labyrinthine tests to exclude a possible inner ear problem.

In the meantime I would recommend you to start betahistine twice daily.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Aida
