What Can Cause Ear Pain By Blowing Nose After Saline Rinse?

I tried a saline rinse(like a neti-pot) for my sinus's, I made the mistake of blowing my nose. It made my ears hurt inside. Now two weeks later one of my ears still hurts. Did i blow the ear drum or is it possible it's infected? I tried the peroxide thing, but i can still feel it. It wakes me up at night too.
