What Can Cause Foul Taste In Mouth?

I ve had a foul taste (difficult to describe but can only liken it to a perfume type, not that I ve drunk perfume of course) in my mouth for a couple of days. Had a look at my tongue now and there are raised bumps along the outside edge, quite equally spaced.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern and here I would like to say that these are the clinical conditions where one may get fowl smell / taste -

1- Gingivitis.

2- Submandibular sailoadenitis.

3- Glossitis.

4- Retro molar ulcers.

5- Chronic tonsillitis.

6- Atrophic rhinitis.

All above possibilities may be ruled out by expert hands of your ENT doctor. Again I would say that all above are manageable and need not to worry.

Thanks for consulting HCM.
