Hi,

Those symptoms you describe of fever with a headache and muscle pain are typical for most infections.

In most cases it is a viral infection which needs only rest and good hydration and improves spontaneously in a matter of days, no need for a particular intervention.

If fever persists for over 5 days though or if other symptoms appear then you should be seen by doctors as some tests for the type and origin of the infection as well as the consideration of whether antibiotics are needed are necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
