Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My cholesterol levels always ranged normal the last tel years. I just had a test done again and my levels went into the 290 range. I fasted all night prior to the test, but I ate a cup of peanuts about 14 hours prior to the test. Everything else in my diet has been the same for the past three years. I am 32. What could cause such a huge jump. I am getting retested to make sure there wasn't an error. Thanks
