Hi
Tachycardia cardia is a common side effect of beta agonist drugs ( many of the cough syrups contains this).
But if you develop abnormal heart beat without any reason , you need work up for that.
Initial investigation is an ECG.
It will give a lot of information.
But don't worry, most of the times, palpitations UB young people are innocent.
So consult your doctor for ECG and further evaluations

Thank you
