What Can Cause Lump Under The Skin Right Under Nostril?

I m in the process of getting a root canal ... waiting for the crown to come in. It was on tooth #9, top left tooth. My upper lip was swollen tremendously, but have been taking antibiotics for 5 days and pain pills. The swelling has gone down and the pain is almost gone. However, there is a lump or knot that is hard, but under the skin right under my left nostril. What is it?
