What Can Cause Pain After Skin Cancer Surgery?

I had a general anesthesia a week ago for a skin cancer operation on my shoulder. Since then I have a sharp pain on my skin on the left side of my abdomen under my left breast. I am 66 years old, 5 ft. 8 inches tall and weigh 180 lbs. I have no health problems, take no medications and have never had general anesthesia before.
