What Can Cause Shooting Pain In The Lower Abdomen After The Periods?

after about 10-12 days past my periods, I experience shooting pain in the right lower part of the abdomen which goes on and off for 1 continuous day. The next day after clearing my bowels it goes off gradually. Also there is a more than usual white discharge during the painful day....what does this indicate??

Hi,

There is nothing much to worry about this condition. This condition can due to infection in your bowel which gets aggravated by periods, start a pantoprazole course along with metronidazole for 7 days.
