What Can Cause Sore Feeling Around The Right Nipple?

A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, I STARTED FEELING SORE AROUND MY RIGHT. IT WAS VERY SENSITIVE TO TOUCH. BUT NOW IT IS PAINFUL WHEN I PRESS ON IT. I HAD MY WIFE LOOK AT IT, AND SHE SAID IT WAS S LIGHTLY RED AND KIND OF HARD. THE FEELING ONLY STAYS AROUND THE NIPPLE, NOT RADIATING OUT ANYWHERE. I HAVE NO SKIN PROBLEMS, SO I DONT THINK IT IS THAT KIND OF PROBLEM.

Hello,

This condition of your can be due to superficial infection in the nipple , so I would suggest you to apply a antifungal ointment with steroids in nipple , also a ultrasound examination of both breast needs to be done.
