What Can Cause Swelling In The Lips?

Hello doctor i am 22 years old.and from last 6-7 months i am having some swelling in my lower lips(outer and inner).it occurs sometimes only and goes away by itself.i went to a doctor he said its an allergy .i took an treatment for abt 4 months now of Allegra 60mg .while i was in medication it did not happen.as i stop medication it starts again.

It means that you would have been re exposed to the allergen (the source of the allergic reaction).

You may want to consider allergy testing to determine what you causes your allergic reaction.
Allergy testing can be by blood tests or skin prick allergy testing.

Once you can determine what it causing your reaction, your exposure can be reduced.
