What Can Cause Swollen Abscesses On Arms, Legs And Neck?

My grandson is constantly getting abscesses on his arms, legs, feet and neck. They swell up, and sometimes bruise, then pop open and bloody mucus comes out. He refuses to go see a doctor. I have no idea what could cause this condition. He is 28 years old.

Hi,

Your grandson has relapsing impetigo and soft tissue infection. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

There may be some cause for having this problem. Blood tests may be done to find out some internal problems.

Give him a course of effective antibiotics for a few weeks. Give him an immune booster. Improve hygiene. Take the Dettol water bath.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilyas Patel,
