I started having a feeling of tightness going from my center of my right ear running up about 2 inches on the side of my head intermittently. Now I have a fluttering sensation off and on in the inner ear of the same ear. What could this be

The rule of the thumb is that if something is bothering you then you must get it evaluated however mild it is.
my advice would be to get an ENT consult and get it over with
meanwhile you can try steam inhalation with menthol
