What Can Cause Uterus Cancer?

hi i am 49 years old and went in to have a mirena today but my gyno told me i have a bulky uterus and will have to have a curette first i have had heavy uterine bleeding with clots in the last month i have always had heavy bleeding but not like this time .. are they looking for cancer i cant stop worrying
