What Can Spotting And Bleeding A Day After Unprotected Sex Indicate In A Woman On Birth Control Pills?
I'm on birth control pills (had no problems with them at all & never missed a pill) and I finished my period on a Friday, on that same Friday and Saturday I had sex with my boyfriend without a condom. Today it being Monday, I noticed spotting then more blood.
Do I have a infection? Am I pregnant? Or did he just pop my cherry just now ?

thank you for writing in HMC, if your periods are regular and lasts for 4days, chances of being pregnant on the fourth day of your menstrual cycle is very rare as ovulation occurs in between the 10th and 16th day for regular cycles (14th day to be precise). did you have bleeding similar to periods after intercourse or just a little more than spotting. little spotting can be expected to occur till the 5-6th day of period also bleeding immediately after coitus requires medical attention. as you said you noticed bleeding a day or two later it could be just a intermenstrual bleeding. however, if you had bleeding immediately after coitus and if you have been sexually active for more than 3 years now or even otherwise i would advice you to get a PAP smear done , to rule out any underlying pathology. intermenstrual bleeding is common when you are on OCPS , so thats not anything to be worried about.
