What Cases Ulcers On The Tongue After A Hip Replacement Surgery?

I am 64 years old female with fibro. My recent problem had hip replacement surgery on 6/3 no problems in that area.
But, since surgery every day no matter what I do my tongue breaks out and hurts. Have seem my dentist states continue do what I am doing, wash mouth with salt water, etc.
I am not on new medication, checked dates on vitamins, spices, etc. My system has only done this in past for a very short time after any surgery....Any new suggestions.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your query the symptoms seems to be due to Recurring Apthous Stomatitis or Recurring Canker Sores..
You should start taking Vitamin B complex supplements.
Do antiseptic mouthwash gargles..
Taking lysine supplements can also help..
For pain Apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine..
Also get evaluated for any allergies that could be a cause..
You should also get evaluated for serum Vitamin B12 levels and along with it hemoglobin levels..

Hope this helps..
