What Casues Dry Cough And Exhaustion?
Hello -- I have had a dry cough for months and only at night. I have long coughing jags and have tried several different over the counter products that may have worked at first, but no longer. We are are both becoming exhausted after months of this disruption to our sleep. K

Here Work up needed as follow for chronic cough...
-Auscultation
-Chest x ray
-Spirometry
-CBC with AEC count
According to cause further specific treatment given
It could be allergic cough or chronic infective etiology
Above investigations will be able to diagnose your case
If any suspicious growth found than sputum cytology and biopsy like investigation done
Chronic acid reflux can lead dry irritative cough
Avoid smoking
Take care
Consult pulmonologoist for examination
