What Casues Green And Yellow Nasal Discharge?

nasal discharge, right nostril - history of non-allergic rhinitis , usingAstepro spray for years. Recently that discharge has been green-yellow, not very viscous, drys quickly leaving greenish stain - and a stench from my nose (my wife says burnt smell , to me most like the asparagus-in-urine smell. Just finished 12 days of Prednisone.

greenish secretions denotes bacterial infection, prednisone doesn't work on that, kindly evaluate with ent surgeon.
