What Casues Itchy Rashes All Over The Body After An Insect Bite?

My mother is 85 and in good health. She claims to have been bitten by an unknown insect 7 weeks ago while in her garden. She broke out in a rash with corresponding itch across here entire body.. Her hair also began to fall out. Please note, she lives in England.

Hi,

It can be due to allergic eruptions or hives.

You can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
